| Description | Comradeship meetings on the second Sunday of each month. Discussion and social. Guest speakers invited for talks. We meet at the club room, downstairs in the Army, Navy, and Air Force Veterans of Canada Unit 290, on Tranquille Road. We help out at veterans' funerals, hospital visitations, parade on Remembrance Day(November 11th), church parade and service on Battle of Atlantic Sunday and other parades as required. We donate an annual trophy to the Sea Cadets and, when invited, attend their parade. To Obtain: Must be an ex-member of the R.N. Wrens, R.C.N., R.C.N.(R), R.C.N.V.R., (Commonwealth Merchant Navy or Commonwealth Navies. Contact Jim Charity(president, KNVA) or Bill Doggart (Past President). Fees: Dues $20 per year | |||
