| Description | Programs & Services: - Services for seniors and diabled people; services for children, youth, and families, and general community services for people living on Denman and Hornby Islands. 1 - Home Care (housekeeping, personal, palliative care) - two programs: A) Home Support - Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) contract/ goverment funded and B) Home Assist - User pay with sliding scale based on income. 2 - Community-Based Children, Youth and Family services (family skills and life skills training) - Ministry of Children and Family Development and VIHA - Youth Addictions contracts. 3 - VIHA - Comox Valley Mental Health and Addiction Services (provided by VIHA at our offices) Phone: 250-338-9777 4 - Other services as per community need (hospice, hamper program, community education, leading library, volunteer programs) | |||
