| Description | Offers support, either individually or in groups, to women who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing violence. Provides referrals to community agencies, accompaniment to important appointments, assistance with transportation and advocacy as needed. Provides community education to raise awareness of the effect of violence against women. Service is available in Nelson, Salmo, Kaslo, Harrop-Procter and Winlaw areas.
