| Description | The Discovery Program serves people with developmental disabilities that are between the ages of 18 and 65 years of age and are currently in receipt of Disability Benefits. Discovery is a day program that offers leisure/recreation opportunities that are geared to individual participation. The program’s goals are: To provide a variety of services to individuals focusing on their strengths and needs. Offer individual the opportunity to explore desired areas in a supported environment. Encourage other individuals to participate fully in their lives; work toward community inclusion. Support people in setting goals and achieving their own definition of success. | |||
