Description & Services
DescriptionLaurel Behaviour Support Services (LBSS) began in 1969 as the “Laurel House,” a residential treatment centre for people with autism in the Lower Mainland. Over time, LBSS evolved into a community-based organization and joined with Mainstream Association for Proactive Community Living [MAPCL], which has now changed names to posAbilities!
Our head office is located in Burnaby and our consultants work with individuals and their families at home or in community settings. We currently provide services for individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities of all ages in the Lower Mainland, southern Vancouver Island, Sunshine Coast and the Interior.
