| Description | Offer two programs: Training Access – to assist unemployed insured participants in the Okanagan Valley Service Area return to the workforce. Provide negotiated financial assistance for those individuals whose barrier to employment is a lack of skills. Wage Subsidy Program – assists unemployed residents throughout the Okanagan Valley who are having difficulty finding employment due to barriers such as lack of work experience and/or marketable skills. Offer employers a wage subsidy while the individual gains work experience. The Centre is operated by Bowman Employment Services Inc. and the Province of British Columbia has contributed funding to this initiative |
