Description & Services
Description Assists parents who are going through a separation or divorce to resolve important decisions, for example issues of parental responsibilities, who the child(ren) will live with, when they see each parent and how much child support will be paid. Family justice counsellors at the Justice Access Centre are accredited family mediators who provide dispute resolution services. They can also make referrals to Parenting After Separation programs, legal aid, other legal services, and community resources. They provide services free of charge to parents and other family members.
Sup. Description Services: Family Justice Counsellors assist families undergoing separation or divorce with issues related to child custody, access, guardianship and child or spousal support.
Areas Served Victoria and Area
Hours 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. weekdays, except 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Thursdays
